If your child is isolating and cannot attend school due to following COVID guidance, please use the following platforms to access their work.
Early Year and Y1
Y2 and above
Day 1 of Absence
On the first day of a COVID-related absence, we ask that your child completes the following tasks:
Early Years
Children complete the home learning activities that have been set for day 1 of Covid-related absence via Tapestry.
Children and adults share books and stories together.
Children complete the suggested activities from their termly Family Topic Homework.
Year 1-2
Children complete up to 45 minutes of Reading Eggs/Eggspress activities. The site is automatically set to an appropriate level for your child, and will become progressively more challenging as your child makes progress.
Children complete up to 45 minutes of Numbots activities to practise basic number skills.
Listen to your child read their phonics book bag book, and answer the questions provided.
Children learn and practise their weekly spellings using the suggested activities in their spelling book.
Children complete the suggested activities from their termly Family Topic Homework.
Year 3 – Year 5
Children complete up to 1 hour of Reading Eggs/Eggspress activities. The site is automatically set to an appropriate level for your child, and will become progressively more challenging as your child makes progress.
Children complete up to 1 hour of Times Tables Rock Stars activities. Children can explore each area of the programme, answering questions in the garage, or challenging others to Rock Tournaments!
Listen to your child read their book and ask the questions provided.
Children learn and practise their weekly spellings using the suggested activities in their spelling book.
Children complete the suggested activities from their termly Family Topic Homework, and visit some of the suggested websites to conduct their own research around the current topic.
Year 6
Children complete 1-2 hours of Learning by Questions activities. The site is set to an appropriate level for your child.
Children complete up to 1 hour of Times Tables Rock Stars activities. Children can explore each area of the programme, answering questions in the garage, or challenging others to Rock Tournaments!
Children are given the opportunity to read their school book.
