It has been wonderful to welcome Mrs Woolley back to school after her maternity leave. Since I became our headteacher, Mrs Woolley has been acting as Deputy Headteacher. However she has decided that whilst her children are still young she wants to spend more time with them and return to being a class teacher and special needs coordinator. This means we need to appoint a new Deputy Headteacher. We will speak to the children about this over the next few weeks and listen to what they want in their new deputy head.
Information about the job can be found here: Deputy Headteacher vacancy
I would just like to thank Mrs Woolley for the brilliant job she has done whilst acting as our Deputy Head. Even though she is stepping back from that role, the children and I are delighted that she will stay on as part of our school family.
