To celebrate St. Matthew’s day this year, Year 5 visited Stretford Children’s Centre. We helped in the playgroup by reading the babies and toddlers stories, making crafts, teaching them nursery rhymes and joining in their imaginary play. Some children also helped to tidy the outdoor area. They swept the pathways and cleaned some of the outdoor equipment. We had such a great morning and the toddlers loved interacting with us. Year 5 should be truly proud of themselves and of how they let their light shine in the community today!
