To celebrate St. Matthew’s day, Year 4 let their lights shine in the community by visiting Sure Start Children’s Centre on Poplar Road, where they joined in with a toddler playgroup. Year 4 also helped out by cleaning all of the toys and raking up the autumn leaves.

When we came back in to class, we made a display to fill a noticeboard at Sure Start to teach people about St. Matthew and explain why it is important to help our community. This will be put up by a group of children next week, so if you visit Sure Start, look out for it!
